1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They let the site remember your actions and preferences (such as login state, language, or which lesson you are on) so you do not have to re-enter them every time. They can also be used to understand how visitors interact with a site so it can be improved.
2. The cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Site to function and cannot be switched off. They include the cookies that authenticate your login, keep items in your cart, remember which step of a quiz or OSCE scenario you are on, and protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). Without them the Site will not work properly.

2.2 Functional cookies
These cookies remember preferences you have set, such as your cookie consent choice or display preferences. They are dropped only when you make a choice that needs to be remembered.
2.3 Analytics cookies (opt-in)
If we use a privacy-friendly analytics tool, it places cookies that help us understand which lessons are most used and where users encounter problems. These cookies are only set if you give consent through the cookie banner. The data they produce is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
2.4 Third-party cookies
Some pages embed content from third parties (for example Stripe payment forms or YouTube videos). These providers may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. Our partner list is in our Privacy Policy.
3. How to manage cookies
You can manage cookies in two ways:
- Via our cookie banner: the banner that appears on first visit lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or choose categories. You can change your choice any time using the cookie settings link in the Site footer.
- Via your browser: every modern browser lets you view, manage and delete cookies. Doing so for strictly necessary cookies may break the Site (you may be logged out, lose your cart, etc.).
4. Other tracking technologies
We do not currently use web beacons, advertising pixels, or device-fingerprinting techniques. If this changes, this policy will be updated.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The effective date above will be revised when we do.
