These terms govern your use of EM Learning Centre, accessible at emlearningcentre.co.uk (the “Site”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Who can use the Site
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a subscription. By using the Site you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity carried out under your account.
3. The service we provide
EM Learning Centre is an online learning platform for postgraduate Emergency Medicine examinations including MRCEM Primary, MRCEM SBA, FRCEM SBA, and the MRCEM and FRCEM OSCE. We provide lessons, single-best-answer question banks, mock examinations, OSCE practice scenarios and related study material. The features available to you depend on the subscription plan you hold (such as demo, exam, learning or testing access).
4. Medical and educational disclaimer
The content on the Site is provided strictly for educational purposes. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for clinical judgement, formal medical training, or supervised clinical practice. The lessons, questions and scenarios reflect typical examination standards and published guidelines at the time of writing, but may not be current with the latest clinical recommendations. You must not rely on Site content to make clinical decisions about real patients. Always follow your local guidelines, your senior clinicians, and the most up-to-date authoritative sources for patient care.
We make no guarantee that completing any course, module or set of materials will result in passing any examination. Examination outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. Any pass rate or testimonial featured on the Site is illustrative and is not a promise of any specific result.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Subscriptions are sold through the Site at the prices stated at the point of purchase. Prices are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable. Payment is processed by our payment partner Stripe; full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
Unless stated otherwise at the point of purchase, a subscription grants access for the period stated on the product page. Where a subscription renews automatically, this is made clear at checkout and you can cancel future renewals from your account at any time.
6. Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If within 14 days of your purchase you are not satisfied with your subscription, contact us and we will issue a full refund. Full details are in our Refund Policy. Your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law are not affected.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — lessons, questions, OSCE scenarios, scoring schemes, illustrations, photographs and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright. While your subscription is active we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the content solely for your own examination preparation.
You may not: (a) copy, distribute, publish, transmit, sell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise any content; (b) scrape, mass-download, or systematically extract content; (c) share or sell your account credentials; (d) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or circumvent the access controls of the Site or its mobile applications.
8. User conduct
You agree not to use the Site to upload, transmit or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, obscene or otherwise inappropriate. You agree not to interfere with the operation of the Site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, or use it in a way that disadvantages other users.
9. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, attempt to abuse the service, or use the Site in a way that puts us, our partners, or other users at risk. Where it is lawful and practical we will give you notice and a chance to remedy the breach. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Site available continuously but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may occasionally take the Site offline for maintenance, security or technical reasons, and we may update or change content, features and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Site or by email where appropriate, and the effective date above will be revised.
11. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these terms or your use of the Site is limited to the amount you have paid us for the subscription in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of examination opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
